Stat. tit. 59, § 59-536.4","heading":"Board - Powers and duties","body":"The Board, acting upon the advice of the Committee, shall issue\n\nall licenses required by the Registered Electrologist Act, and shall\n\nexercise the following powers and duties:\n\n1. To make rules and regulations deemed necessary to implement\n\nthe provisions of the Registered Electrologist Act;\n\n2. To prescribe application forms for license applicants,\n\nlicense certificate forms and such other forms as necessary to\n\nimplement the provisions of the Registered Electrologist Act;\n\n3. To establish a curriculum of study for licensure in the\n\npractice of electrolysis in this state;\n\n4. To prepare and conduct an examination for applicants for\n\nlicensure pursuant to the Registered Electrologist Act;\n\n5. To keep a complete record of all licensed electrologists and\n\nto prepare an official listing of the names and addresses of all\n\nlicensed electrologists which shall be kept current. A copy of such\n\nlisting shall be available to any person requesting it upon payment\n\nof a copying fee established by the Board;\n\n6. To keep a permanent record of all proceedings pursuant to\n\nthe Registered Electrologist Act;\n\n7. To employ and establish the duties of clerical personnel\n\nnecessary to carry out the provisions of the Registered\n\nElectrologist Act;\n\n8. To conduct hearings to deny, revoke, suspend or refuse\n\nrenewal of licenses under the Registered Electrologist Act, and to\n\nissue subpoenas to compel witnesses to testify or produce evidence\n\nat such hearings in accordance with the Administrative Procedures\n\nAct; and\n\n9.
