No person shall advertise, in any manner, or otherwise\n\nrepresent himself or herself as a therapeutic recreational\n\nspecialist or as a provider of therapeutic recreation or recreation\n\ntherapy services unless the person is licensed pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Therapeutic Recreation Practice Act.\n\nB. It shall be a misdemeanor for a person to violate any\n\nprovision of the Therapeutic Recreation Practice Act and, upon\n\nconviction, such person shall be subject to one or more of the\n\nfollowing actions which may be taken by the State Board of Medical\n\nLicensure and Supervision in consultation with the Therapeutic\n\nRecreation Committee:\n\n1. Revocation of license;\n\n2. Suspension of license not to exceed six (6) months from the\n\ndate of hearing; or\n\n3.
