Stat. tit. 59, § 59-635.3","heading":"Resident training license – Prescribing privileges -","body":"Requirements.\n\nA. There is established in this state a resident training\n\nlicense for medical school graduates. The resident training license\n\nshall be:\n\n1. Issued by the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners to\n\neligible physicians;\n\n2. Issued without any continuing education requirements; and\n\n3. Issued for no more than one (1) year.\n\nB. If the physician’s resident training program specifically\n\napproves the resident to have prescribing authority, the resident\n\ntraining license shall permit the physician to apply for prescribing\n\nprivileges from state or federal authorities.\n\nC. The resident training license shall not permit:\n\n1. The physician to practice medicine beyond the scope allowed\n\nby the physician’s training program; or\n\n2. The licensee to practice independent of the residency\n\nprogram.\n\nD. The resident training license is a prerequisite to\n\nparticipation in any training program.\n\nE. Any person holding a resident training license is not\n\nguaranteed subsequent full or advanced resident licensure in this\n\nstate as an osteopathic physician.\n\nF. Any application for full licensure shall be adjudged by the\n\nBoard on its own merits including training, education and personal\n\nbackground.\n\nG. A physician shall meet the following requirements to be\n\neligible for a resident training license:\n\n1. Completion of a resident training license application;\n\n2. Payment of the application fee; and\n\n3.
