Stat. tit. 59, § 59-858-204","heading":"Officers - Employees - Duties and compensation -","body":"Meetings.\n\nA. The members of the Commission, within thirty (30) days after\n\ntheir appointment, shall organize and elect a chairman and vice-\n\nchairman. Annually thereafter the offices of chairman and vice-\n\nchairman shall be attained through election by Commission members.\n\nB. The Commission, as soon after the election of the chairman\n\nand vice-chairman as practicable, shall employ a secretary-treasurer\n\nand such clerks and assistants as shall be deemed necessary to\n\ndischarge the duties imposed by the provisions of this Code, and\n\nshall determine their duties and fix their compensation subject to\n\nthe general laws of this state.\n\nC. The chairman of the Commission, and in his absence the vice-\n\nchairman, shall preside at all meetings of the Commission and shall\n\nexecute such duties as the Commission, by its rules, shall\n\nprescribe.\n\nD.
