Any person eighteen (18) years of age or older who shall\n\nsubmit to the Commission evidence of successful completion of ninety\n\n(90) clock hours or its equivalent as determined by the Commission\n\nof basic real estate instruction in a course of study approved by\n\nthe Commission, may apply to the Commission to take an examination\n\nfor the purpose of securing a license as a provisional sales\n\nassociate. The education required in this subsection shall only be\n\nvalid for a period of three (3) years from the date the school\n\ncertified successful completion of the course; thereafter, the\n\napplicant shall be required to successfully complete an additional\n\nninety (90) clock hours or its equivalent in basic real estate\n\ninstruction.\n\nB. Application shall be made upon forms prescribed by the\n\nCommission and shall be accompanied by an application fee as\n\nprovided for in this Code and all information and documents the\n\nCommission may require.\n\nC. The applicant shall appear in person before the Commission\n\nfor an examination which shall be in the form and inquire into the\n\nsubjects the Commission shall prescribe.\n\nD. If it shall be determined that the applicant shall have\n\npassed the examination, received final approval of the application,\n\nand paid the appropriate license fee provided for in this Code along\n\nwith the Oklahoma Real Estate Education and Recovery Fund fee, the\n\nCommission shall issue to the applicant a provisional sales\n\nassociate license.\n\nE. Following the issuance of a provisional sales associate\n\nlicense, the licensee shall then submit to the Commission, prior to\n\nthe expiration of the provisional license, evidence of successful\n\ncompletion of forty-five (45) clock hours or its equivalent as\n\ndetermined by the Commission of postlicense education real estate\n\ninstruction in a course(s) of study approved by the Commission. A\n\nprovisional sales associate who fails to submit evidence of\n\ncompliance with the postlicense education requirement pursuant to\n\nthis section, prior to the first expiration date of the provisional\n\nsales associate license, shall not be entitled to renew such license\n\nfor another license term.
