Stat. tit. 59, § 59-858-629","heading":"Home inspector examination - Application and","body":"qualifications - Issuance of license.\n\nA. Any individual eighteen (18) years of age or older who has\n\nsuccessfully completed ninety (90) clock hours of home inspection\n\ntraining or its equivalent as determined by the Committee of Home\n\nInspector Examiners may apply to take a home inspector examination.\n\nApplication shall be made on forms prescribed by the Construction\n\nIndustries Board, shall contain information as required by the\n\nConstruction Industries Board upon advisement of the Committee, and\n\nshall be accompanied by evidence of successful completion of the\n\nrequired training. Examinations may be held in vocational and\n\ntechnical schools or in other locations as determined by rule.\n\nB. If, from the application filed, answers to inquiries,\n\ncomplaints, or information received, or investigation, it appears to\n\nthe Board that the applicant is not qualified, the Committee shall\n\ndeny approval of the application and shall give notice of that fact\n\nto the applicant.\n\nC. Upon approval of the application and the payment of the\n\napplicant of an examination fee, the applicant shall be scheduled to\n\nappear in person for an examination on the subjects prescribed by\n\nthe Committee.\n\nD. If the Board determines that the applicant has successfully\n\npassed the examination or an equivalent examination as determined by\n\nthe Committee, the Board shall, upon the payment of the license fee\n\nand submission of other documents as required by the Home Inspection\n\nLicensing Act or rules promulgated pursuant to the Home Inspection\n\nLicensing Act, issue to the applicant a license which shall\n\nauthorize the applicant to perform home inspections.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0e141d9be86e095b6ea61b913e17ce849d1f7c8ea50af1710fe79dd75c46e233","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-858-628","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-858-630"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
