The Board shall promulgate rules and regulations to\n\nimplement the provisions of the Oklahoma Certified Real Estate\n\nAppraisers Act.\n\nB. The Board shall have the following powers and duties:\n\n1. The Real Estate Appraiser Board may employ a Director to\n\noversee the organization and activities of the Board and to ensure\n\ncompliance with rules promulgated by the Board. The Director shall\n\nperform such other duties as the Board may prescribe. The salary of\n\nthe Director shall be set by the Board. The position of Director\n\nshall be an unclassified position;\n\n2. Board employees shall be hired by and subject to the\n\nsupervision and control of the Director or designee. Persons\n\nemployed by the Board shall serve at the direction and pleasure of\n\nthe Director. All employees are employees of this state and shall\n\nbe in the unclassified service;\n\n3. Employees of the Board shall be considered unclassified\n\nemployees of the Insurance Department only for the purpose of\n\nadministrative support provided by the Insurance Department;\n\n4. The Director is authorized to employ temporary workers or\n\ncontract labor as may be required to properly administer the\n\nOklahoma Certified Real Estate Appraisers Act;\n\n5. To further define by regulation and with respect to each\n\ncategory of Oklahoma certified real estate appraisers the type of\n\neducational experience, appraisal experience and equivalent\n\nexperience that will meet the requirements of the Oklahoma Certified\n\nReal Estate Appraisers Act, as approved by the Appraiser\n\nQualification Board of the Appraisal Foundation;\n\n6. To establish the examination specifications for each\n\ncategory of Oklahoma certified real estate appraiser;\n\n7. To approve or disapprove applications for certification and\n\nissue certificates;\n\n8. To further define by regulation and with respect to each\n\ncategory of Oklahoma certified real estate appraiser, the continuing\n\neducation requirements for the renewal of certification that will\n\nmeet the requirements of the Oklahoma Certified Real Estate\n\nAppraisers Act as approved by the Appraiser Qualification Board of\n\nthe Appraisal Foundation;\n\n9. To review from time to time the standards for the\n\ndevelopment and communication of real estate appraisals provided in\n\nthe Oklahoma Certified Real Estate Appraisers Act and to adopt\n\nregulations explaining and interpreting the standards;\n\n10. To establish administrative procedures for disciplinary\n\nproceedings conducted pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma\n\nCertified Real Estate Appraisers Act;\n\n11. To censure, suspend and revoke certificates pursuant to\n\nthe disciplinary proceedings provided in the Oklahoma Certified Real\n\nEstate Appraisers Act; and\n\n12. To perform such other functions and duties as may be\n\nnecessary in carrying out the provisions of the Oklahoma Certified\n\nReal Estate Appraisers Act.\n\nIn the exercise of all powers and the performance of all duties\n\nprovided in the Oklahoma Certified Real Estate Appraisers Act, the\n\nBoard shall comply with the procedures provided in the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act.\n\nC. Actions of the Board shall not be subject to review by the\n\nDepartment.\n\nD.
