An AMC applying for, holding, or renewing a registration\n\nunder the Oklahoma Appraisal Management Company Regulation Act shall\n\nnot be owned by:\n\n1. A person who has held a credential issued by any appraiser-\n\ncredentialing jurisdiction to act as an appraiser that was refused,\n\ndenied, canceled, suspended, revoked or surrendered in lieu of a\n\npending disciplinary proceeding in any jurisdiction and not\n\nsubsequently granted or reinstated; or\n\n2. An entity that is owned by any person who has held a\n\ncredential issued by any appraiser-credentialing jurisdiction to act\n\nas an appraiser that was refused, denied, canceled, suspended,\n\nrevoked or surrendered in lieu of a pending disciplinary proceeding\n\nin any jurisdiction and not subsequently granted or reinstated.\n\nB. Each person that owns an AMC applying for, holding, or\n\nrenewing a registration under the Oklahoma Appraisal Management\n\nCompany Regulation Act shall:\n\n1. Be of good moral character, as determined by the Board; and\n\n2. Submit to a background investigation, as determined by the\n\nBoard.\n\nC. Each AMC applying for registration or for renewal of a\n\nregistration under the Oklahoma Appraisal Management Company\n\nRegulation Act shall certify to the Oklahoma Real Estate Appraiser\n\nBoard on a form prescribed by the Board that it has reviewed each\n\nentity that owns the AMC and that no entity has had a credential\n\nissued by any appraiser-credentialing jurisdiction to act as an\n\nappraiser that was refused, denied, cancelled, suspended, revoked,\n\nor surrendered in lieu of a pending disciplinary proceeding in any\n\njurisdiction and not subsequently granted or reinstated.","path":["OK Code","Title 59"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os59.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f7b0948c746095807bc909a937daf1e5e31cf7e204b3402869f5348de83cd205","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-858-808","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-59-59-858-810"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
