Any person holding a license as occupational therapist\n\nissued by the Board may use the title \"Occupational Therapist\",\n\n\"Registered Occupational Therapist\", or \"Licensed Occupational\n\nTherapist\", or the letters \"O.T.\", \"O.T.R.\", or \"O.T.R./L.\". Any\n\nperson holding a license as an occupational therapy assistant issued\n\nby the Board may use the title \"Occupational Therapy Assistant\",\n\n\"Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant\", or \"Licensed\n\nOccupational Therapy Assistant\" or use the letters \"O.T.A.\",\n\n\"C.O.T.A.\", or \"O.T.A./L.\". No other person shall in any way,\n\norally or in writing, in print, or by sign or transmission of sound\n\nor sight, directly or by implication, represent himself as an\n\noccupational therapist. Such misrepresentation, upon conviction,\n\nshall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as herein\n\nprovided; provided, however, that nothing in this act shall prohibit\n\nany person who does not in any way assume or represent himself to be\n\nan occupational therapist, registered occupational therapist,\n\nlicensed occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant,\n\ncertified occupational therapy assistant, or licensed occupational\n\ntherapy assistant, from doing other types of therapies as may be\n\nauthorized by law.\n\nB. Any person who obtains, or attempts to obtain, licensure as\n\nan occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant by any\n\nwillful misrepresentation, grossly negligent misrepresentation, or\n\nany fraudulent misrepresentation, upon conviction, shall be guilty\n\nof a misdemeanor and punishable as herein set forth.\n\nC. Any person who violates any provisions of this act, upon\n\nconviction, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished\n\nby a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail in\n\nthe county in which such conviction occurred for not less than five\n\n(5) days nor more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and\n\nimprisonment.
