The Board shall waive the examination and grant a license to\n\nany person certified prior to the effective date of this act as an\n\noccupational therapist registered (O.T.R.) or a certified\n\noccupational therapy assistant (C.O.T.A.) by the American\n\nOccupational Therapy Association. The Board may waive the\n\nexamination, education, or experience requirements and grant a\n\nlicense to any person so certified after the effective date of this\n\nact if the Board considers the requirements for such certification\n\nto be at least equivalent to the requirements for licensure in this\n\nact.\n\nB. The Board may waive the examination, education, or\n\nexperience requirements and grant a license to any applicant who\n\nshall present proof of current licensure as an occupational\n\ntherapist or occupational therapy assistant in another state, the\n\nDistrict of Columbia, or territory of the United States which\n\nrequires standards of licensure considered by the Board to be at\n\nleast equivalent to the requirements for licensure in this act.\n\nC.
