No person shall practice or hold himself or herself out as\n\nbeing able to practice music therapy or provide music therapy\n\nservices in this state unless the person is licensed in accordance\n\nwith the provisions of the Music Therapy Practice Act.\n\nB. Nothing in the Music Therapy Practice Act shall be construed\n\nto prevent or restrict the practice, services or activities of:\n\n1. Any person licensed, certified or regulated under the laws\n\nof this state in another profession or occupation, or personnel\n\nsupervised by a licensed professional in this state from performing\n\nwork, including the use of music, incidental to the practice of the\n\nperson's profession or occupation, if that person does not represent\n\nhimself or herself as a music therapist;\n\n2. Any person enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree\n\nin music therapy from performing music therapy services incidental\n\nto the person's coursework when supervised by a licensed\n\nprofessional, if the person is designated by a title which clearly\n\nindicates the person's status as a student;\n\n3. Any person whose training and national certification attests\n\nto the individual's preparation and ability to practice the person's\n\nprofession, if that person does not represent himself or herself as\n\na music therapist; or\n\n4.
