Consultation and evaluation by a licensed music therapist\n\nmay be performed without a referral. Initiation of music therapy\n\nservices to individuals with medically related conditions shall be\n\nbased on a referral from any qualified health care professional who,\n\nwithin the scope of his or her professional license, is authorized\n\nto refer for health care services.\n\nB.
