Stat. tit. 59, § 59-987","heading":"Issuance of license","body":"Upon the filing of such application and after the applicant has\n\nestablished that he has fully complied with all the provisions of\n\nthis act, the treasurer of said county, shall issue to the applicant\n\na license authorizing the said applicant to conduct a public auction\n\nas proposed in said application; such license shall not be\n\ntransferable and shall be valid only in the county where issued and\n\nshall not be valid in any town or city which has enacted an\n\nordinance licensing public auction sales unless a license is also\n\nobtained from such city or town. No license shall be good for more\n\nthan one person, unless such persons shall be copartners nor for\n\nmore than one place in said county.\n\nThe treasurer shall keep a record of such licenses in a book\n\nprovided for that purpose, which shall at all times be open to\n\npublic inspection.\n\nNo particular form of license shall be required to be issued by\n\nsaid treasurer.
