Stat. tit. 59, § 59-991","heading":"Regulation by cities and towns","body":"The towns and cities of the State of Oklahoma are hereby given\n\nfull power and authority to tax, license and regulate persons, firms\n\nor corporations engaging in or desiring to engage in public\n\nauctions, and may require a license and charge a fee therefor; but\n\nsuch license fee shall not exceed the amount provided in this act\n\nfor a county license but shall be in addition thereto and such towns\n\nand cities may provide for penalties for violations of said\n\nordinance.
