Stat. tit. 6, § 6-1722","heading":"Establishment or acquisition of representative trust","body":"offices.\n\nA. An out-of-state trust institution may establish or acquire\n\nand maintain a representative trust office in this state. An out-\n\nof-state trust institution desiring to establish or acquire and\n\nmaintain a representative trust office shall file a notice on a form\n\nprescribed by the Commissioner which shall set forth the name of the\n\nout-of-state trust institution, the location of the proposed office,\n\nand satisfactory evidence that the notificant is a trust\n\ninstitution. The out-of-state trust institution shall also furnish\n\na copy of the resolution adopted by the board authorizing the\n\nrepresentative trust office, and pay a fee equal to that for bank\n\nloan production offices.\n\nB. The notificant may commence business at the representative\n\noffice on the thirty-first day after the date the Commissioner\n\nreceives the notice, unless the Commissioner specifies an earlier or\n\nlater date.\n\nC. The thirty-day period of review may be extended by the\n\nCommissioner on a determination that the written notice raises\n\nissues that require additional information or additional time for an\n\nanalysis. If the period of review is extended, the out-of-state\n\ntrust institution may establish the representative trust office only\n\non prior written approval by the Commissioner.\n\nD. The Commissioner may deny approval of the representative\n\noffice if the Commissioner finds that the notificant lacks\n\nsufficient financial resources to undertake the proposed expansion\n\nwithout adversely affecting its safety or soundness or that the\n\nproposed office would be contrary to the public interests.
