Stat. tit. 6, § 6-2024","heading":"Joint tenancy shares and deposits","body":"When shares are owned or a deposit is made in the joint names of\n\na member and one or more persons, payable to any of them or the\n\nsurvivor, such shares or deposit, or any part thereof, or any\n\ndividends or interest thereon, may be paid to any of the persons,\n\nwhether one of those persons shall be a minor or not, and whether\n\nthe other or others be living or not; and the receipt or acquittance\n\nof the person so paid shall be a valid and sufficient release and\n\ndischarge to the credit union for any payment so made.
