Stat. tit. 6, § 6-2027","heading":"Certain records designated as public records -","body":"Confidential records - Disclosure of confidential information.\n\n(A) The following records of the State Credit Union Board, the\n\nBank Commissioner, Administrator and State Banking Department are\n\ndesignated as public records:\n\n(1) All applications for credit union charters and supporting\n\ninformation with the exception of personal financial records of\n\nindividual applicants;\n\n(2) All records introduced at public hearings on credit union\n\ncharter applications;\n\n(3) Information disclosing the failure of a credit union and\n\nthe reasons therefor;\n\n(4) Reports of completed investigations which uncover a\n\nshortage of funds in a credit union, after the reporting of the\n\nshortage to proper authorities by the Bank Commissioner; and\n\n(5) All items filed in the office of the Secretary of State.\n\n(B) All other credit union records in the State Banking\n\nDepartment including but not limited to records of the State Credit\n\nUnion Board, the Bank Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner and the\n\nAdministrator shall be confidential and not subject to public\n\ninspection; provided, however, that the State Credit Union Board,\n\nBank Commissioner, Administrator, or Deputy Commissioner may divulge\n\nsuch confidential information with the written approval of the Bank\n\nCommissioner after receipt of a written request which shall:\n\n(1) Specify the record or records to which access is requested;\n\nand\n\n(2) Give the reasons for the request. Such records may also be\n\nproduced pursuant to a valid judicial subpoena or other legal\n\nprocess requiring production, if the Bank Commissioner determines\n\nthat the records are relevant to the hearing or proceeding and that\n\nproduction is in the best interests of justice. The records may be\n\ndisclosed only after a determination that good cause exists for the\n\ndisclosure. Either prior to or at the time of any disclosure, the\n\nBank Commissioner shall impose such terms and conditions as he deems\n\nnecessary to protect the confidential nature of the record, the\n\nfinancial integrity of any institution to which the record relates,\n\nand the legitimate privacy interests of any individual named in such\n\nrecords.","path":["OK Code","Title 6"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os6.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"dd568876e4107a3184a670527ee2e5f2b4f1a3ea2fb86f42733139f1c8357d79","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-2026","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
