Stat. tit. 6, § 6-2105","heading":"Application for license","body":"(a) Application for a license shall be made to the Commissioner\n\non forms prepared by him and shall be under oath.\n\n(b) The application for a license shall:\n\n1. State the name of the applicant and the street address of\n\nhis principal office, as well as the mailing address if such mailing\n\naddress is different from the street address.\n\n2. Contain evidence of the good moral character of the\n\napplicant, if the applicant is an individual, or of the partners, if\n\nthe applicant is a partnership; if the applicant is a joint-stock\n\nassociation, trust, unincorporated association or corporation, the\n\nsecretary or any assistant secretary thereof shall certify the name\n\nand address of each of the officers, directors, trustees or other\n\nmanaging officials, together with a designation of the office or\n\noffices held by each and evidence of the good moral character of\n\neach, and shall submit such certificate to the Commissioner with the\n\napplication.\n\n3. Be accompanied by evidence of the ability of the applicant\n\nto meet the requirements of this act.\n\n4. Be accompanied by the license fee required by Section 2107\n\nof this title.\n\n5. Unless the applicant shall have demonstrated a net worth in\n\nexcess of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00), be accompanied by a\n\nsummary of the sales of checks activities being conducted by the\n\napplicant in any and all other states, and shall include the number\n\nof locations at which its checks are sold as well as information\n\nregarding bonds posted in each state and the amount thereof.\n\n(c) All applications for a license shall be confidential and\n\nnot subject to public inspection.","path":["OK Code","Title 6"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os6.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"976a89636ba7f94283aa01d97ce02f3e840e044a4d1ddc351c474f2dec4102b5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-2104","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-2106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
