Stat. tit. 6, § 6-2202","heading":"Definitions","body":"(a) \"Financial institution\" means any office or branch of a\n\nbank, savings bank, savings association, building and loan\n\nassociation, savings and loan association and credit union located\n\nin the State of Oklahoma.\n\n(b) \"Financial record\" means any original of, or any copy of,\n\nany record held by a financial institution, or any information\n\nderived therefrom, pertaining to a customer's relationship with the\n\nfinancial institution.\n\n(c) \"Government authority\" means any agency, board, commission\n\nor department of the State of Oklahoma, or any officer, employee,\n\nrepresentative, or agent thereof.\n\n(d) \"Customer\" means any person, corporation, partnership or\n\nother legal entity, or authorized representative thereof, who\n\nutilized or is utilizing a service of a financial institution, or\n\nfor whom a financial institution is acting or has acted as a\n\nfiduciary, in relation to an account maintained in the customer's\n\nname.\n\n(e) \"Supervisory agency\" means, with respect to any particular\n\nfinancial institution, any state agency, board, commission or\n\ndepartment which has statutory authority to examine the financial\n\ncondition or business operations of that institution.","path":["OK Code","Title 6"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os6.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d4f8f54d9445770d79871930000f4ad1501c1e09ecbf1d2ce3fb1efef0b3329c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-2201","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-2203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
