Stat. tit. 6, § 6-2206","heading":"Costs of assembling, reproducing or providing financial","body":"records.\n\nA. A government authority shall pay to the financial\n\ninstitution assembling, reproducing or providing any financial\n\nrecord of a customer a reasonable fee for such costs, including\n\ncopying costs and labor costs, to be paid prior to the time the\n\nrecord is released.\n\nB. For purposes of this section, the following fees shall be\n\ndeemed reasonable:\n\n1. Search and processing costs. Reimbursement for search and\n\nprocessing costs shall be the total amount of direct personnel time\n\nincurred in locating and retrieving, reproducing, packaging and\n\npreparing financial records for shipment or delivery. The rate for\n\nsearch and processing costs shall be no more than Twenty-two Dollars\n\n($22.00) per hour per person for clerical or technical personnel,\n\ncomputed on the basis of Five Dollars and fifty cents ($5.50) per\n\nquarter hour or fraction thereof, and no more than Thirty Dollars\n\n($30.00) per hour per person for management or supervisory\n\npersonnel, computed on the basis of Seven Dollars and fifty cents\n\n($7.50) per quarter hour or fraction thereof, and shall be limited\n\nto the total amount of personnel time spent in locating and\n\nretrieving documents or information or reproducing or packaging and\n\npreparing documents for shipment where required or requested by a\n\ngovernment authority. If itemized separately, search and processing\n\ncosts may include the actual cost of extracting information stored\n\nby computer in the format in which it is normally produced, based on\n\ncomputer time and necessary supplies. Personnel time for computer\n\nsearch may be paid for only at the rate specified in this paragraph;\n\n2. Reproduction costs. Reimbursement for reproduction costs\n\nshall be for costs incurred in making copies of documents required\n\nor requested. The rate for reproduction costs for making copies of\n\nrequired or requested documents shall be twenty-five cents ($0.25)\n\nfor each page, including copies produced by reader/printer\n\nreproduction processes. Photographs, films, computer tapes and\n\nother materials shall be reimbursed at actual cost;\n\n3. Transportation costs. Reimbursement for transportation\n\ncosts shall be for necessary costs, directly incurred, to transport\n\npersonnel to locate and retrieve the information required or\n\nrequested, and necessary costs, directly incurred solely by the need\n\nto convey the required or requested material to the place of\n\nexamination; and\n\n4. Directly incurred costs. A financial institution also may\n\nreceive reimbursement for costs incurred solely and necessarily as a\n\nconsequence of searching for, reproducing or transporting books,\n\npapers, records, or other data, in order to comply with legal\n\nprocess.
