It is unlawful\n\nfor any bank to make a contribution or expenditure in connection\n\nwith any election to any political office, or in connection with any\n\nprimary election or political convention or caucus held to select\n\ncandidates for any political office, or for any candidate, political\n\ncommittee, or for any other person to accept or receive any\n\ncontribution prohibited by this section .\n\nB. Penalties. Every bank which makes any contribution or\n\nexpenditure in violation of subsection A of this section shall be\n\nfined not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and every\n\nofficer or director of any bank who consents to any such\n\ncontribution or expenditure by the bank, and any person who accepts\n\nor receives any such contribution, shall be fined not more than One\n\nThousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisoned not more than one (1)\n\nyear, or both; and if the violation was willful shall be guilty of a\n\nClass D3 felony offense and shall be fined not more than Ten\n\nThousand Dollars ($10,000.00), or imprisoned as provided for in\n\nsubsections B through F of Section 20P of Title 21 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes, or both.","path":["OK Code","Title 6"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os6.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d0d83eef8bc989bda30ab2eba9fae920313fd5c0c79e7b28942eeff87e3db5a5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-807","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-6-6-809"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
