This act applies to a trust, whenever created, that has its\n\nprincipal place of administration in this state and is subject to\n\nthe following rules:\n\n1. If the trust was created before the effective date of this\n\nact, this act applies only to a decision or action occurring on or\n\nafter the effective date of this act; and\n\n2. If the principal place of administration of the trust is\n\nchanged to this state on or after the effective date of this act,\n\nthis act applies only to a decision or action occurring on or after\n\nthe date of the change.\n\nB. Without precluding other means to establish a sufficient\n\nconnection with the designated jurisdiction in a directed trust, the\n\nterms of the trust which designate the principal place of\n\nadministration of the trust are valid and controlling if:\n\n1. A trustee's principal place of business is located in or a\n\ntrustee is a resident of the designated jurisdiction;\n\n2. A trust director's principal place of business is located in\n\nor a trust director is a resident of the designated jurisdiction; or\n\n3.
