A trustee does not have a duty to:\n\na. monitor a trust director, or\n\nb. inform or give advice to a settlor, beneficiary,\n\ntrustee, or trust director concerning an instance in\n\nwhich the trustee might have acted differently than\n\nthe director; and\n\n2. By taking an action described in paragraph 1 of this\n\nsubsection, a trustee does not assume the duty excluded by paragraph\n\n1 of this subsection.\n\nB. Unless the terms of a trust provide otherwise:\n\n1. A trust director does not have a duty to:\n\na. monitor a trustee or another trust director, or\n\nb. inform or give advice to a settlor, beneficiary,\n\ntrustee, or another trust director concerning an\n\ninstance in which the director might have acted\n\ndifferently than a trustee or another trust director;\n\nand\n\n2.
