Stat. tit. 60, § 60-126","heading":"Foreclosure procedure — Minors or persons of unsound mind","body":"as owners.\n\nIn case the lands, at the time foreclosure proceedings are about\n\nto be commenced, are owned by minors, or by persons of unsound mind,\n\nsuch notice shall be addressed to the guardian of the minors, or\n\npersons of unsound mind, and if there is no such guardian, the\n\nAttorney General of the state or district attorney shall make\n\napplication in the name of the state to the court and procure the\n\nappointment of a guardian ad litem to represent such minor, or\n\nperson of unsound mind in such proceedings; thereafter the district\n\nattorney shall direct the clerk of such court to ascertain the\n\nresidence or post office address of the next of kin of such minor,\n\nor person of unsound mind, and to transmit to such next of kin a\n\ncopy of the petition or application to foreclose such lands, and\n\nsuch minor or person of unsound mind shall have ninety (90) days\n\nafter the mailing of such notice to appear and defend the action.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 6651.
