Without precluding other means for establishing a sufficient\n\nconnection with the designated jurisdiction, terms of a trust\n\ndesignating the principal place of administration are valid and\n\ncontrolling if:\n\n1. A trustee's principal place of business is located in or a\n\ntrustee is a resident of the designated jurisdiction; or\n\n2. All or part of the administration occurs in the designated\n\njurisdiction.\n\nB. A trustee is under a continuing duty to administer the trust\n\nat a place appropriate to its purposes, its administration, and the\n\ninterests of the beneficiaries.\n\nC. Without precluding the right of the court to order, approve,\n\nor disapprove a transfer, the trustee, in furtherance of the duty\n\nprescribed by subsection B of this section, may transfer the trust's\n\nprincipal place of administration to another state or to a\n\njurisdiction outside of the United States.\n\nD. The trustee shall notify the qualified beneficiaries of a\n\nproposed transfer of a trust's principal place of administration not\n\nless than sixty (60) days before initiating the transfer. The\n\nnotice of proposed transfer must include:\n\n1. The name of the jurisdiction to which the principal place of\n\nadministration is to be transferred;\n\n2. The address and telephone number at the new location at\n\nwhich the trustee can be contacted;\n\n3. An explanation of the reasons for the proposed transfer;\n\n4. The date on which the proposed transfer is anticipated to\n\noccur; and\n\n5. The date, not less than sixty (60) days after the giving of\n\nthe notice, by which the qualified beneficiary must notify the\n\ntrustee of an objection to the proposed transfer.\n\nE. The authority of a trustee under this section to transfer a\n\ntrust's principal place of administration terminates if a qualified\n\nbeneficiary notifies the trustee of an objection to the proposed\n\ntransfer on or before the date specified in the notice.\n\nF.
