Except as otherwise provided in subsection B of this\n\nsection, if a particular charitable purpose becomes unlawful,\n\nimpracticable, impossible to achieve, or wasteful:\n\n1. The trust does not fail, in whole or in part;\n\n2. The trust property does not revert to the settlor or the\n\nsettlor's successors in interest; and\n\n3. The court may apply cy pres to modify or terminate the trust\n\nby directing that the trust property be applied or distributed, in\n\nwhole or in part, in a manner consistent with the settlor's\n\ncharitable purposes.\n\nB.
