The settlor, a co-trustee, or a beneficiary may request the\n\ncourt to remove a trustee, or a trustee may be removed by the court\n\non its own initiative.\n\nB. The court may remove a trustee if:\n\n1. The trustee has committed a serious breach of trust;\n\n2. Lack of cooperation among co-trustees substantially impairs\n\nthe administration of the trust;\n\n3. Due to unfitness, unwillingness, or persistent failure of\n\nthe trustee to administer the trust effectively, the court\n\ndetermines that removal of the trustee best serves the interests of\n\nthe beneficiaries; or\n\n4. There has been a substantial change of circumstances or\n\nremoval is requested by all of the qualified beneficiaries, the\n\ncourt finds that removal of the trustee best serves the interests of\n\nall of the beneficiaries and is not inconsistent with a material\n\npurpose of the trust, and a suitable co-trustee or successor trustee\n\nis available.\n\nC.
