If a trust created on or after November 1, 2010, contains a\n\nspendthrift provision, a creditor shall not attach present and\n\nfuture mandatory distributions from the trust. A creditor shall\n\nwait until a distribution is received by a beneficiary before\n\nattachment. However, an exception creditor may attach present and\n\nfuture mandatory distributions for child support.\n\nB. If a trust does not contain a spendthrift provision, a\n\ncreditor may attach present and future mandatory distributions from\n\nthe trust at the trust level.\n\nC. A beneficiary holding a mandatory distribution interest may\n\nenforce the interest.
