A trustee may only make distributions for the purposes\n\ndesignated by the settlor. A creditor, including an exception\n\ncreditor, has no greater rights than a beneficiary. In this\n\nrespect, a creditor, including an exception creditor, cannot attach\n\npresent or future distributions if the claim of the creditor does\n\nnot come within the distribution standard.\n\nB. A restriction limiting the distribution powers of a trustee\n\nas to a trustee, which distribution might result in the loss of a\n\nbeneficiary’s eligibility for participation in a federal or state\n\nbenefits program, including, but not limited to, Medicaid,\n\nSupplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Income, or\n\nother state or federal benefits program is valid, and no creditor,\n\nincluding an exception creditor, may attach present or future\n\ndistributions from such a trust.
