Stat. tit. 60, § 60-180.4","heading":"Regulation of certain public trusts operating a water","body":"supply system.\n\nA. The Corporation Commission shall have general supervision\n\nover trusts created for the benefit and furtherance of a public\n\nfunction pursuant to Title 60 of the Oklahoma Statutes, Sections 176\n\net seq., where:\n\n1. The trust has multiple beneficiaries; and\n\n2. A water supply system is operated by the trust or a person\n\nor entity to which such function has been delegated; and\n\n3. The water supply system is operated in a county having a\n\npopulation in excess of five hundred thousand (500,000) persons\n\naccording to the most recent Federal Decennial Census; and\n\n4. The beneficiaries do not regulate the rates, charges and\n\npractices of the water supply system.\n\nB. The Corporation Commission shall also have general\n\nsupervision over any person or entity to whom the function of\n\noperating a water supply system has been delegated by such a trust.\n\nC. The Corporation Commission shall have the power to fix and\n\nestablish rates and to prescribe rules, requirements and regulations\n\naffecting their services, operation, and the management and conduct\n\nof the business of persons and entities subject to this section and\n\nshall inquire into the management of the business thereof, and the\n\nmethod in which same is conducted. It shall have full visitorial\n\nand inquisitorial power to examine such operations, and keep\n\ninformed as to their general conditions, their capitalization,\n\nrates, plants, equipment, apparatus, and other property owned,\n\nleased, controlled or operated, the value of same, the management,\n\nconduct, operation, practices and services, not only with respect to\n\nthe adequacy, security and accommodation afforded by their service,\n\nbut also with respect to their compliance with the Constitution and\n\nlaws of this state, and with the orders of the Commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 60"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os60.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7a4dc88a59ae33a249bbb3e239f44111f07ed6828348cc512d4a4a132c6ee314","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-180.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-180.56"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
