The Legislature finds that:\n\n1. Charitable, religious, and educational and eleemosynary\n\norganizations perform essential and needed services in the state;\n\n2. Clarification is needed regarding the capability of\n\ncharitable, religious, educational, and eleemosynary organizations\n\nto act as a fiduciary in obtaining and administering present and\n\nfuture gifts benefitting the charitable, religious, educational, and\n\neleemosynary purposes of such organizations and their affiliates;\n\nand\n\n3. Clarification is needed regarding the fiduciary powers of\n\ncharitable, religious, educational, and eleemosynary organizations\n\nin the administration of trusts which provide for present or future\n\ngifts benefitting the charitable, religious, educational, and\n\neleemosynary purposes of such organizations.\n\nB.
