Stat. tit. 60, § 60-387","heading":"Sale of real property not suitable for particular","body":"institutions - Personal property - Lease until sale.\n\nExcept as may be otherwise provided in Sections 391 through 396\n\nof this title, any real property involved in any gift, testamentary\n\nor otherwise, given to this state for public purposes generally or\n\nwithout designation of any particular purpose to which the same\n\nshall be devoted, when accepted by the Governor and delivered to the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services, as provided for in\n\nSection 383 of this title, which may not be occupied and used\n\nadvantageously, as determined by the Office of Management and\n\nEnterprise Services, by any particular state institution,\n\ndepartment, or agency as contemplated by Section 386 of this title,\n\nand any tangible personal property involved in any gift,\n\ntestamentary or otherwise, given to this state for public purposes\n\ngenerally or without designation of any particular purpose to which\n\nthe same shall be devoted, when accepted by the Governor and\n\ndelivered to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, as\n\nprovided for in Section 383 of this title, which is determined to\n\nbe, by the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, not\n\nespecially suited to the special needs of any particular state\n\ninstitution, department, or agency, or may not be used\n\nadvantageously by any particular state institution, department, or\n\nagency in performing its assigned duties or functions, as\n\ncontemplated by Section 386 of this title, shall be sold by the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services as required by law.\n\nIf, in the judgment of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices, any such real property which is or becomes subject to sale\n\nmay not be sold immediately to advantage, it may be leased or\n\notherwise rented, until such time as, in the opinion of said Office,\n\nit may be sold to advantage.","path":["OK Code","Title 60"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os60.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"52430c33c776724ca3f6c4ee35f9ea350cc0f005d7f923ef6b60a89abd7d30b2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-386","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-388"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
