Stat. tit. 60, § 60-49.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"DEFINITIONS\n\nAs used in this act:\n\n1. \"Conservation easement\" means a nonpossessory interest of a\n\nholder in real property imposing limitations or affirmative\n\nobligations the purposes of which include, but are not limited to,\n\nretaining or protecting natural, scenic, or open-space values of\n\nreal property, assuring its availability for agricultural, forest,\n\nrecreational, or open-space use, protecting natural resources,\n\nmaintaining or enhancing air or water quality, or preserving the\n\nhistorical, architectural, archaeological, or cultural aspects of\n\nreal property; and\n\n2. \"Holder\" means:\n\na. a governmental body empowered to hold an interest in\n\nreal property under the laws of this state or the\n\nUnited States, or\n\nb. a charitable corporation, charitable association, or\n\ncharitable trust, the purposes or powers of which\n\ninclude retaining or protecting the natural, scenic,\n\nor open-space values of real property, assuring the\n\navailability of real property for agricultural,\n\nforest, recreational, or open-space use, protecting\n\nnatural resources, maintaining or enhancing air or\n\nwater quality, or preserving the historical,\n\narchitectural, archaeological, or cultural aspects of\n\nreal property.","path":["OK Code","Title 60"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os60.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ffb6daf7c3abbad322f5d3af9732dda24b5d73a89a6ae812de18fa659406cff9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-49.19","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-49.20"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
