Stat. tit. 60, § 60-683.2","heading":"Application and effect of act","body":"(a) This act does not relieve a holder of a duty that arose\n\nbefore the effective date of this act to report, pay, or deliver\n\nproperty. A holder who did not comply with the law in effect before\n\nthe effective date of this act is subject to the applicable\n\nenforcement and penalty provisions that then existed and they are\n\ncontinued in effect for the purpose of this subsection, subject to\n\nsubsection (b) of Section 666 of this title.\n\n(b) The initial report filed under this act for property that\n\nwas not required to be reported before the effective date of this\n\nact but which is subject to this act must include all items of\n\nproperty that would have been presumed abandoned during the ten-year\n\nperiod preceding the effective date of this act as if this act had\n\nbeen in effect during that period.\n\n(c) Museums shall not be subject to the provisions of the\n\nUniform Unclaimed Property Act, but a museum may avail itself of the\n\nprovisions of this act by complying with the requirements of this\n\nact.","path":["OK Code","Title 60"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os60.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8bccd99b7a502f4993c7564302d744553b5ec8c6fef636cab9b2bc320a1c707e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-683.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-60-60-684.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
