At any time after personal property has been paid or\n\ndelivered to the State Treasurer under the Uniform Unclaimed\n\nProperty Act, another state may recover the property if:\n\n1. The property was subjected to custody by this state because\n\nthe records of the holder did not reflect the last-known address of\n\nthe apparent owner when the property was presumed abandoned under\n\nthe Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, and the other state establishes\n\nthat the last-known address of the apparent owner or other person\n\nentitled to the property was in that state and under the laws of\n\nthat state the property escheated to or was subject to a claim of\n\nabandonment by that state;\n\n2. The last-known address of the apparent owner or other person\n\nentitled to the property, as reflected by the records of the holder,\n\nis in the other state and under the laws of that state the property\n\nhas escheated to or become subject to a claim of abandonment by that\n\nstate;\n\n3. The records of the holder were erroneous in that they did\n\nnot accurately reflect the actual owner of the property and the\n\nlast-known address of the actual owner is in the other state and\n\nunder the laws of that state the property escheated to or was\n\nsubject to a claim of abandonment by that state;\n\n4. The property was subjected to custody by this state under\n\nsubsection (f) of Section 659 of this title and under the laws of\n\nthe state of domicile of the holder the property has escheated to or\n\nbecome subject to a claim of abandonment by that state; or\n\n5. The property is the sum payable on a travelers check, money\n\norder, or other similar instrument that was subjected to custody by\n\nthis state under Section 651.2 of this title, and the instrument was\n\npurchased in the other state, and under the laws of that state the\n\nproperty escheated to or became subject to a claim of abandonment by\n\nthat state.\n\nB. The claim of another state to recover escheated or abandoned\n\nproperty must be presented in a form prescribed by the State\n\nTreasurer, which shall decide the claim within ninety (90) days\n\nafter it is presented. The State Treasurer shall allow the claim if\n\nthe State Treasurer determines that the other state is entitled to\n\nthe abandoned property under subsection A of this section.\n\nC.
