Stat. tit. 60, § 60-704","heading":"Notice to depositors","body":"The Attorney General shall notify depositors whose accounts are\n\nto be escheated as follows:\n\n1. A letter advising that a Postal Savings System account in\n\nthe name of the addressee is about to be escheated and setting\n\nforth the procedure by which a deposit may be claimed shall be\n\nmailed by first class mail to the named depositor at the last\n\naddress shown on the account records for each account to be\n\nescheated having an unpaid principal balance of more than Twenty-\n\nfive Dollars ($25.00).\n\n2. A general notice of intention to escheat Postal Savings\n\nSystem accounts shall be published once in each of three (3)\n\nsuccessive weeks in a legal newspaper of general circulation in the\n\ncounty in this state in which is located the last address shown on\n\nthe account records for each account to be escheated having an\n\nunpaid principal balance of more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).\n\n3. A special notice of intention to escheat the unclaimed Postal\n\nSavings System accounts originally deposited in each post office\n\nmust be published once in each of three (3) successive weeks in a\n\nlegal newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the\n\npost office is located.
