Stat. tit. 61, § 61-104","heading":"Bid notices","body":"\n\nAll proposals to award public construction contracts shall be\n\nmade equally and uniformly known by the awarding public agency to\n\nall prospective bidders and the public in the following manner:\n\n1. Notice thereof shall be given electronically and by\n\npublication in a newspaper of general circulation and published in\n\nthe county where the work, or the major part of it, is to be done,\n\nsuch notice by publication to be published in two consecutive weekly\n\nissues of the newspaper, with the first publication thereof to be at\n\nleast twenty-one (21) days prior to the date set for opening bids;\n\nand\n\n2. Notice thereof shall be sent to one in-state trade or\n\nconstruction publication for their use and information whenever the\n\nestimated cost of the public construction contract exceeds One\n\nHundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) or the cost of the\n\nconstruction management trade contract or subcontract exceeds Fifty\n\nThousand Dollars ($50,000.00); provided, however, this section shall\n\nnot be construed to require the publication of the notice in such\n\ntrade or construction publication or the requirement to provide the\n\nnotice to more than one in-state trade or construction publication\n\nor to any out-of-state trade or construction publications.","path":["OK Code","Title 61"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os61.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"77b9c5fb645a8a183f34d1787ae1b31e1ff55e1b5ac4042d7da5d850b8229b37","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-103.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
