Stat. tit. 61, § 61-114","heading":"Conflict of interest","body":"\n\nThe chief administrative officer and members of the governing\n\nbody of the awarding public agency authorizing or awarding or\n\nsupervising the execution of a public construction contract, and\n\ntheir relatives within the third degree of consanguinity or\n\naffinity, are forbidden to be interested directly or indirectly\n\nthrough stock ownership, partnership interest or otherwise in any\n\nsuch contract. Contracts entered into in violation of this section\n\nshall be void.
