Stat. tit. 61, § 61-220.1","heading":"Design-build as project delivery method for public water","body":"supply, wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection\n\nsystems.\n\nA. For purposes of this section, \"design-build\" means a project\n\ndelivery method in which one entity works under a single contract\n\nwith the project owner to provide design and construction services.\n\nB. A conservancy district formed pursuant to Section 541 of\n\nTitle 82 of the Oklahoma Statutes, a municipality, a county, a\n\npublic trust, and any other political subdivision in this state that\n\noperates a public water supply system or wastewater treatment or\n\ncollection system is authorized to utilize design-build as a project\n\ndelivery method for public water supply and wastewater treatment\n\nfacilities and wastewater collection systems.\n\nC. No later than November 1, 2022, the Department of\n\nEnvironmental Quality shall incorporate into its administrative\n\nrules a flexible permitting process to allow the utilization by the\n\nentities identified in subsection B of this section of the design-\n\nbuild project delivery method for public water supply and wastewater\n\ntreatment facilities and wastewater collection systems.\n\nD. In the interim between the effective date of this act and\n\npromulgation of rules, the Department may authorize no more than\n\nfive pilot projects in which the entities identified in subsection B\n\nof this section may utilize the design-build project delivery method\n\nfor public water supply and wastewater treatment facilities and\n\nwastewater collection systems, and the Department may use the\n\nresults to promulgate rules.","path":["OK Code","Title 61"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os61.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fbd69e9a52904a1b93b9a8fc7005250c4d16b0711586820de574dcaae08f5be0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-217","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-221"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
