Stat. tit. 61, § 61-313","heading":"Development for oil and gas purposes of certain state-","body":"owned lands in Oklahoma City authorized - Agreements.\n\nThe Office of Management and Enterprise Services is authorized\n\nto provide for the development for oil and gas purposes of the\n\nfollowing described property:\n\nAll of the-state owned lands not now leased for oil and gas\n\nmining purposes within a radius of five hundred (500) yards of a\n\npoint on the half-section line running north and south between the\n\nnortheast fourth and northwest fourth of Section twenty-seven (27),\n\nTownship Twelve (12) North, Range three (3) West of the Indian\n\nMeridian, and the center of Twenty-second (22) Street in Oklahoma\n\nCity, Oklahoma, extended east from the right-of-way of the Atchison,\n\nTopeka and Santa Fe Railway Company.\n\nThe development of such property shall be by means of a well, or\n\nwells, located on adjacent state-owned lands. The Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services is authorized to enter into an\n\nagreement, or agreements, with the owner of the oil and gas lease,\n\nor leases, on adjacent state-owned lands, consolidating said tract\n\nwith said adjacent state-owned lands or some part thereof for oil\n\nand gas development, upon such terms and conditions, and for such\n\nconsideration as the Office of Management and Enterprise Services\n\nmay prescribe. There shall be reserved to the state a royalty of\n\nnot less than one fourth (1/4) of the oil and gas, or the proceeds\n\nthereof, that may be produced from the property first described.\n\nAll development of the property first described for oil and gas\n\npurposes shall be by means of a well, or wells, located on the\n\nsurface of said adjacent land but which may be directionally drilled\n\nand bottomed on and underneath the property first described.","path":["OK Code","Title 61"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os61.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a603e4b63728ab0443f83e59bd9a55adf157c11e9e77188129a5f5b300083e8d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-312","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-314"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
