The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices is hereby authorized to grant easements, rights-of-way, and\n\nenter into contracts authorizing the construction and maintenance of\n\ntelephone, electric transmission and distribution lines, railroad\n\nlines, telegraph lines, and pipelines across any state lands under\n\nthe management of said Director, and all lands set apart for the use\n\nand benefit of any state agency, department, or institution\n\nincluding all lands set apart for use of colleges, universities,\n\nhospitals, and eleemosynary institutions. Said easements and\n\nrights-of-way grants shall be for a period not to exceed twenty (20)\n\nyears and shall provide for such considerations, terms, and\n\nconditions including privileges and conditions of renewal, as the\n\nDirector of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services may\n\ndetermine advisable for the best interests of the state institutions\n\nin possession thereof.\n\nB. The Commissioners of the Land Office, the Oklahoma Ordnance\n\nWorks Authority, the Midwestern Oklahoma Development Authority, the\n\nOklahoma Department of Transportation, the Oklahoma Turnpike\n\nAuthority, the Northeast Oklahoma Public Facilities Authority and\n\nthe Department of Wildlife Conservation and their lands shall be\n\nexempt from the application of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 61"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os61.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"cc8766a04f03228a2cad6ebcf51da25f4983b6a5fc528f96566d1055b6f27710","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-319","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-61-61-323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
