Stat. tit. 61, § 61-83","heading":"Prohibited terms in bid specifications for public","body":"improvement projects.\n\nA public agency awarding any contract for the construction,\n\nrepair, remodeling, or demolition of a public improvement or\n\nobligating funds pursuant to such a contract, shall ensure that\n\nneither the awarding public agency nor any construction manager\n\nacting on behalf of the public agency shall, in its bid\n\nspecifications, project agreements, or other controlling documents,\n\ninclude:\n\n1. A term that requires, prohibits, encourages, or discourages\n\nbidders, contractors, or subcontractors from entering into or\n\nadhering to agreements with a collective bargaining organization\n\nrelating to the construction project or other related construction\n\nprojects; and\n\n2.
