Stat. tit. 62, § 62-139.48","heading":"Other emergencies - Expenditures","body":"Where the written findings of fact required by Section 139.46 of\n\nthis title do not include one of the specific emergencies listed in\n\nSection 139.47 of this title but do show the existence of some other\n\nemergency not foreseen or reasonably foreseeable by the Legislature,\n\nthe Governor may allocate and authorize the expenditure of monies\n\nfrom the State Emergency Fund to provide for such emergency if, and\n\nonly if:\n\n(1) the Contingency Review Board, by a majority vote thereof,\n\nhas first found that such emergency exists, and was not foreseen or\n\nreasonably foreseeable by the Legislature, and has certified such\n\nfindings in writing to the Governor and the Director of the Office\n\nof Management and Enterprise Services. A copy of such findings\n\nshall be filed in the office of each of the members of said Board.\n\n(2) the Governor, after having received the findings of the\n\nContingency Review Board, has also found that such emergency exists,\n\nand was not foreseen or reasonably foreseeable by the Legislature.\n\n(3) the funds so allocated and authorized are expended solely\n\nfor direct assistance or relief to qualified individuals or\n\nentities, pursuant to eligibility guidelines developed by the\n\nContingency Review Board for each emergency, or for costs associated\n\nwith providing direct assistance.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ffe9b0bc7a65ebb377e576eb6d2b135ebab6b681af6a79b96897e75573c6343c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-139.47","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-139.49"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
