Stat. tit. 62, § 62-2004","heading":"Deposit of monies in Rural Economic Action Plan Fund","body":"accounts - Expenditures.\n\nA. The monies appropriated to the Rural Economic Action Plan\n\nFund shall be subject to all of the requirements of Sections 2006\n\nthrough 2013 of this title.\n\nB. In a fiscal year for which the amount appropriated to the\n\nRural Economic Action Plan Fund is less than or equal to the sum of\n\nFifteen Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($15,500,000.00),\n\nthere shall be deposited into each of the accounts provided by\n\nSection 2006 of this title the sum of one-tenth (1/10) of the amount\n\nappropriated to the Rural Economic Action Plan Fund with the\n\nexception of one account which shall be divided equally into two\n\nsubaccounts. One of the two subaccounts shall be available to one\n\nand only one of the entities described by subsection B of Section\n\n2007 of this title for distribution to cities or towns within the\n\nrespective jurisdiction of the entity if the population of such city\n\nor town does not exceed seven thousand (7,000) persons according to\n\nthe latest Federal Decennial Census or for the benefit of an\n\nunincorporated area. Funds may also be expended for any city or\n\ntown with a population below seven thousand (7,000) persons based\n\nupon the current population estimate according to the U.S. Census\n\nBureau. Funds may be expended for such cities and towns until the\n\nnext following Federal Decennial Census. Provided, for any fiscal\n\nyear following the first fiscal year that the provisions of\n\nsubsection D of this section have taken effect, funds appropriated\n\nto the Rural Economic Action Plan Fund shall be deposited as\n\nprovided in subsection D of this section and the provisions of this\n\nsubsection shall not be in effect.\n\nC. In a fiscal year for which the amount appropriated to the\n\nRural Economic Action Plan Fund is greater than Fifteen Million Five\n\nHundred Thousand Dollars ($15,500,000.00), but less than Seventeen\n\nMillion Fifty Thousand Dollars ($17,050,000.00), there shall be\n\ndeposited into each of nine separate accounts for the entities\n\ndescribed by subsection A of Section 2007 of this title the sum of\n\nOne Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,550,000.00).\n\nThere shall be divided equally between two additional accounts for\n\nthe use and benefit of the entities described by subsection B of\n\nSection 2007 of this title the balance of any such appropriation in\n\nexcess of Thirteen Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars\n\n($13,950,000.00), but less than Seventeen Million Fifty Thousand\n\nDollars ($17,050,000.00).\n\nD. In the first fiscal year for which the amount appropriated\n\nto the Rural Economic Action Plan Fund equals or exceeds the sum of\n\nSeventeen Million Fifty Thousand Dollars ($17,050,000.00), and in\n\nevery subsequent fiscal year, there shall be deposited an equal\n\namount to each of eleven accounts created for the use and benefit of\n\nthe entities described by subsections A and B of Section 2007 of\n\nthis title.\n\nE. Regardless of the number of accounts created based upon the\n\nappropriation amount to the Rural Economic Action Plan Fund, all\n\nexpenditures from all accounts shall be governed by the limitations\n\nimposed pursuant to Sections 2002 through 2013 of this title,\n\nincluding the limitations applicable to expenditures for the benefit\n\nof cities or towns based upon population limits or expenditures for\n\nthe benefit of unincorporated areas.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1b024007c1c4141aefbc88ab7161e327025979ec2933aeddbb2cc6cbf0bcab02","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-2003","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-2006"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
