Stat. tit. 62, § 62-2011","heading":"Administrative expenses not to be paid from Rural","body":"Economic Action Plan funds - Treble damages - Initial planning\n\nexpenditures.\n\nA. Except as otherwise provided by subsection C of this\n\nsection, the funds available pursuant to the provisions of Section\n\n2006 of this title shall not be used to pay any administrative\n\nexpenses of the entity requesting the funds. The Oklahoma\n\nDepartment of Commerce shall monitor expenditures made pursuant to\n\nthe Rural Economic Action Plan Act to ensure compliance with the\n\nprovisions of this section. Such funds shall be audited by the\n\nState Auditor and Inspector in the manner provided by law for audits\n\nof other state funds. Misuse of funds by an entity shall disqualify\n\nthe entity from further funding for a period of one (1) year from\n\nthe date as of which any report by the Oklahoma Department of\n\nCommerce is issued revealing a violation of the requirements of this\n\nsection.\n\nB. Except for funds authorized by subsection C of this section,\n\nan entity which violates the provisions of this section shall be\n\nliable to the State of Oklahoma for treble the amount of funds\n\nidentified as having been impermissibly used for the payment or\n\nreimbursement of administrative expenses. The payment shall be made\n\nto the Oklahoma Department of Commerce for deposit in the Rural\n\nEconomic Action Plan Fund and such funds shall become available for\n\ndistribution as otherwise provided by Section 2001 et seq. of this\n\ntitle except that no such funds shall be paid to an entity which has\n\nbeen required to make the treble damage payment.\n\nC. Upon verification by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce\n\nthat an entity is qualified to receive funds for a purpose\n\nauthorized by this section, the entity shall be eligible for an\n\ninitial planning expenditure payment of not to exceed five percent\n\n(5%) of the amount contained in the account created for the entity\n\npursuant to Section 2006 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"81daebc09fa17a04009eabd68874b87954791814e17415c302b0b48dffdccc11","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-2010","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-2012"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
