Section 40 of Article X of the Oklahoma Constitution created\n\na trust fund to be known as the “Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust\n\nFund”. The trust fund principal shall consist of the portion of\n\nmonies which are received by the State of Oklahoma on or after July\n\n1, 2001, pursuant to any settlement with or judgment against any\n\ntobacco company or companies as provided by subsection B of this\n\nsection, the Fifty Million Dollars ($50,000,000.00) transferred to\n\nthe Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund pursuant to Section 29,\n\nChapter 8, 1st Extraordinary Session, O.S.L. 2000, and any other\n\nmonies that may be appropriated or otherwise directed to the trust\n\nfund by the Legislature.\n\nB. The trust fund principal shall consist of monies which are\n\ndeposited to the trust fund.
