Appointments to the Board of Investors of the Tobacco\n\nSettlement Endowment Trust Fund shall be staggered as provided in\n\nthis section, pursuant to the provisions of Section 40 of Article X\n\nof the Oklahoma Constitution. The initial staggered terms of office\n\nof persons appointed prior to April 10, 2001, or persons appointed\n\nto fill the remainder of an initial term of office shall be as\n\nfollows:\n\n1. The term of office of the person appointed by the Speaker of\n\nthe House of Representatives shall expire June 30, 2001;\n\n2. The term of office of the person appointed by the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate shall expire June 30, 2002;\n\n3. The term of office of the person appointed by the Governor\n\nshall expire June 30, 2003; and\n\n4. The term of office of the person appointed by the State\n\nAuditor and Inspector shall expire June 30, 2004.\n\nThereafter, persons shall be appointed for terms of four (4)\n\nyears beginning July 1. Any vacancy shall be filled by the\n\nappointing authority for the remainder of the unexpired term.\n\nB. Appointments to the Board of Directors of the Tobacco\n\nSettlement Endowment Trust Fund shall be staggered as provided in\n\nthis section, pursuant to the provisions of Section 40 of Article X\n\nof the Oklahoma Constitution. The initial staggered terms of office\n\nof persons appointed prior to April 10, 2001, or persons appointed\n\nto fill the remainder of an initial term of office shall be as\n\nfollows:\n\n1. The term of office of the person appointed by the State\n\nSuperintendent of Public Instruction shall expire June 30, 2007.\n\nThereafter, persons shall be appointed for terms of seven (7)\n\nyears beginning July 1.
