Stat. tit. 62, § 62-310.4","heading":"Unexpended balances of fiscal year available until","body":"September 30th - Notice to present claims.\n\nAll unencumbered balances, if any, as shown by the officer\n\ncharged with keeping the appropriation and expenditure records of\n\nthe county, city, or town on hand at the close of day June 30, may\n\nremain as a credit for said fiscal year up to the close of day\n\nSeptember 30, next. Said officer charged with keeping the\n\nappropriation and expenditure records of the county, city, or town\n\nshall at any time during the month of July advertise in a newspaper\n\nof general circulation in the county and shall cause to be published\n\nfor two (2) consecutive times if in a daily newspaper and once if in\n\na weekly newspaper, notice in the following form:\n\nPUBLIC NOTICE\n\nAll persons having an indebtedness or claim against ________\n\n_________________________________________________________________\n\nCounty, City, or Town\n\nare hereby notified that all invoices and documentation pertaining\n\nto said purchase order or contract must be recorded in the office of\n\n_____________ Clerk on or before September 30, 20___, covering all\n\ndebts now unpaid and incurred during the period beginning on July 1,\n\n20___, and ending on June 30, 20___, or said account shall be void\n\nand forever barred.\n\n_____________________________________\n\nClerk or Encumbering Officer\n\nProvided this act shall not be so construed to allow the incurring\n\nof a new indebtedness after June 30 chargeable to the appropriation\n\naccount of the immediately preceding fiscal year.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"17be68ba6800d7c7dbd430933b7cf3f12696ad475b9089c9fec6179e55fd2827","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-310.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-310.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
