Stat. tit. 62, § 62-310.5","heading":"Surplus for unencumbered balances - Supplemental","body":"appropriations - Cancellation of appropriations.\n\nProvided all fund balance reserved for unencumbered balances of\n\nappropriations for the prior fiscal year on hand at the close of day\n\nSeptember 30, may be appropriated by supplemental appropriation to\n\ncurrent expense purposes in the current fiscal year in the manner\n\nnow provided by law. In the event of the recording of an estimated\n\nencumbrance or in the event of an increase in the cost price of\n\nsupplies, equipment, materials, etc., these underestimations may be\n\nprovided for during the three-months period by the cancellation of\n\nappropriations made by the county excise board prior to June 30,\n\nsubject to the approval both of the governing board and the officer\n\nin charge of the department or appropriation account only in\n\ninstances as hereinabove set forth and only in amounts sufficient to\n\npay such increased encumbrances, and by reappropriation to the\n\nappropriation accounts in which an underestimate encumbrance was\n\nmade, all in the manner as now provided by law for the making of\n\nsupplemental appropriations.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"59d3ef8e8a4e3ff249c4dff6c0c9efa338d270ff4adfdb35641534dd1c085f8c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-310.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-310.6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
