Stat. tit. 62, § 62-335","heading":"Money due for property, royalty or services - Payment and","body":"crediting.\n\nWhen any money is due any county, city, town or school district\n\nin this state from sale, lease or rental or any public property, or\n\nroyalty, or for compensation for service of public employees or\n\nother purpose, it shall be paid over to the lawful treasurer\n\nthereof.\n\nThe governing board shall have authority to direct by written\n\nresolution duly entered in the minutes of its meeting at the time\n\nsuch money is received or prior thereto that such money shall be\n\ncredited to the fund account from which such property was derived or\n\nfrom which payment has been or will be made for such services\n\nrendered or other purposes.\n\nIf there be no resolution by the governing board directing the\n\ndisposition of the money received as contemplated herein it shall be\n\nthe duty of the treasurer to credit such money so received to the\n\ngeneral fund.\n\nThe governing board shall have authority to direct that a fund\n\nderived for such sources as herein contemplated, where applicable to\n\na public utility, be created and used to repair, relocate or replace\n\nany utility or part thereof new or hereafter existing.","path":["OK Code","Title 62"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os62.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a6fac6779730729a4fd9d1f0ed1b1ab939e7cfc99c1a80bb474d38b859b9c7cf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-334","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-62-62-34"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
